un/pitched: New Music Network
Lindsey and Dallas Joseph Howard co-direct Un/Pitched: New Music Network, an organization aiming to connect communities of instrumentalists and composers to create new and fresh performances. Since it’s inception in early 2017, Un/Pitched has completed a call for scores for percussion trio, hosted two performances of the winner’s music by the Un/Pitched Percussion Trio at Ithaca College and Cornell University, as well as presented a full orchestral program of works by local composers performed by the Un/Pitched Sandbox Orchestra. Lindsey and Dallas, alongside their amazing team (Sergio Cote, Emmanuel Berrido, and Keehun Nam) are currently pursuing funding so that Un/Pitched’s network can expand nationally this next season.
